Partly utilities

Privacy for Partly integrations

Choose the utility you use. Calculations in your browser, calculations within Google, and requests sent to a server have different data flows.

WordPress block

Participant names, expenses, payers and share weights are calculated in the visitor’s browser. The block does not send these inputs to Partly, save calculation data in WordPress or use cookies, browser storage or custom analytics. It does not read WordPress users or other site data.

The website owner saves the block’s language, currency and optional credit setting with the page. The optional Partly credit is off by default; its link contains no calculation data and uses no-referrer. The hosting website has its own privacy policy and ordinary visit processing.

Google Sheets Editor add-on

After you choose Preview, the add-on reads the selected table in the current spreadsheet and calculates in Google Apps Script. Names, amounts and results are processed within Google and displayed in the Google-hosted sidebar; they are not sent to Partly or another external calculation API. Permissions cover the current spreadsheet and sidebar UI, without Drive-wide or email access.

A per-user preview record contains a token, file/range coordinates, a digest, language, currency and timestamp, not raw cell contents. The preview expires logically after five minutes. The metadata is replaced by the next preview or consumed on export; expiry does not promise automatic physical deletion after five minutes.

Export rereads the previewed range and writes a new results tab only after your click. Source cells are not overwritten. Results remain in your spreadsheet under your Google sharing and retention settings; closing the sidebar does not delete the results tab. A failed export can leave an incomplete new tab. You can remove that tab and manage or revoke the add-on through Google.

Canva app

The app calculates from names, expenses, payers and weights in temporary browser memory. It does not send these inputs to Partly, store them in browser storage or create custom analytics. It requests adding design content, without reading existing design content or your Canva profile.

Only when you choose Insert is the selected result table added to your Canva design through Canva’s SDK. The editable table is a snapshot and does not recalculate automatically. Closing or clearing the app discards its temporary input state, but does not delete tables already inserted. Canva handles design content, sharing and SDK/runtime information under its policies. The optional Partly website action contains fixed campaign tags without your expense data.

Telegram bot

When you send a command or inline query, Telegram transmits its text and associated metadata to the bot’s server. The server uses the text, language and routing information to calculate and reply through Telegram’s Bot API. It does not fetch conversation history or attachments. This is server-side processing, not a browser-only calculation.

The application does not log or persist financial text, names or amounts. Bounded temporary memory holds update identifiers, hashed routing identifiers and rate counters for delivery protection. Hosting providers can process technical request metadata under their own policies.

Command results are posted to the chat where requested and are visible to that group when used in a group. An inline result is posted only when you select it. Telegram processes and retains messages under its policies; closing a chat does not delete those messages. Prefer aliases and omit bank details or other unnecessary identifiers.

MCP calculation tool

Your client, such as ChatGPT, sends the expense arguments you choose to the calculation server: currency, participant labels, integer-cent amounts, payers and weights. The server processes them in memory and returns balances and suggested repayments to that client. The tool has no function to read your files, bank accounts or conversation history, browse the web or execute payments.

The application does not persist these inputs/results or write their contents to application logs, and it does not forward them to another calculation API. Your client handles your conversation under its own policies. Cloudflare hosts tool requests and can process technical request metadata. Use aliases; never include credentials or bank details. Removing a client conversation is separate from the tool’s stateless calculation.
