Work out group reimbursements in Telegram
After a trip, different people have paid different amounts. Send the advances to the Partly bot for a reimbursement proposal your group can check together.

The command uses the total advanced by each person. It suits a completed trip or a flatshare’s groceries and bills when you already know what everyone paid and the same shares apply to all advances. If individual expenses have different participants, choose a tool with a per-expense matrix.
From advances to reimbursements
1.Start privately
Open the bot and use /help. Choose EUR, USD, GBP, CHF or CAD for the whole calculation.
2.Send the advances
Enter /split, the currency and each name=amount, separated by semicolons. Keep people who paid nothing with =0.
3.Check before sharing
Read the result before settling. The share button lets you choose a conversation, then select the inline result before sending it. In a group, address the command directly to @PartlyExactSplitBot.

Choose the right input format
- Up to 12 people, with one advance per person. A bracketed weight such as Alice[2]=90 applies across all advances in the calculation.
- Commands allow up to 2,048 characters; inline queries up to 256. Use short aliases and one amount per person.
- One currency from EUR, USD, GBP, CHF and CAD. A zero advance keeps the person in the split; the total must be positive.
What reaches Telegram and the server
The command and its metadata pass through Telegram and the bot server. The server calculates and replies through Telegram. It does not fetch group history; posted messages remain subject to Telegram’s settings and policies. Do not send bank details.

Can each purchase have different participants?
Not in this advances command: weights are shared across the calculation. Use it for a period or trip whose expenses follow the same split; choose a per-expense matrix for other cases.
Can everyone see the result?
A reply requested in a group is visible in that group. An inline result is posted only after you select it.
Does the bot keep the group’s accounts?
No. It handles the requested calculation without importing history or creating a persistent shared ledger. Keep any records you need yourself.
